Prints and J Selzer Studios, this lively event brings together top-notch string band musicians and craft cider for an
unforgettable evening of twang, tunes, and taste.
Come early for an old time harmony singing workshop w/ singer, banjoist, and percussive dancer, Evie Ladin, whose performances have been featured from The Prairie Home Companion

2-3pm Old Time Harmony Singing Workshop w/ Evie Ladin & Bobcat Opossum.
Whether you want to learn more about finding harmony parts, feel stronger about holding
harmonies, be more confident in your vocal technique, or just enjoy singing in harmony in an old
time style, we’ll use a variety of approaches in the tradition to increase your skills. Using Carter
Family songs, hymns and other old time songs, we’ll sing sing sing, while developing skills for
listening, blending and making harmonic choices.
After the workshop, there will be intimate performances in Phan Gear’s vibey art space. Bobcat Opossum will be opening the night with their signature blend of bluegrass and folk inspired songs featuring
harmony singing, dynamic string arrangements, and blazing fiddle tunes.
The main event begins at 4:30 pm with our touring guest, Evie Ladin, as she will bring the polyrhythmic heat of her clawhammer banjo style and resonant voice to the Phan Gear stage for a unforgettable performance.
After the dust settles from an incredible night of music, join the musicians outside the studio for a fireside jamboree where all are welcome to bring their own instruments and join in a traditional after party jam.
